Named after the pioneering ornithologist, John James Audubon, the room is reminiscent of his old world travels while documenting bird species. The room is located at the top of the stairs and features a more-than-generous tub with shower, a queen bed, desk, front street view, and it's own private turret for relaxing and reading.

The Flamingo room is a bright and spacious room and pays homage to our Florida roots with it's tropical feel. This sun-filled room has three windows which overlook the swim spa and the beautiful brick and stained glass windows of the Methodist Church next door. The room features a corner whirlpool tub with a shower wand, a king bed and private bath. Its essence of romance and peace provides a welcome sanctuary.

The Crow's Nest is a calming, monochromatic room with a mariner feel. This room has the essence of the coasts and salt water. The room features a queen bed, private bathroom with an over-sized jetted tub with shower, modern amenities, and plenty of space to relax. This room overlooks the Ashland Historical Museum to the east.

The spacious front porch offers an expansive space for a breath of fresh air, relaxation and dining. During the warmer months, front porch dining is an option. Guests are free to use the front porch at any time during their stay. A private deck for two off the dining room is part of our Romance Package. (Details under Packages).
While enjoying the outdoor swim spa, relax in an outdoor seating area with fire pit. The swim spa deck is open during spa hours every evening until 11 p.m. (unless inclement weather) and is accessed on the newly added front porch access. Guest spa towels are provided. Cozy throws are also available upon request for those cool evenings outdoors. It’s a great time to order and enjoy our charcuterie board.
Conveniently located along the upstairs hallway is the Hospitality Nook. Coffees, teas, waters and snacks are available as well as a microwave, small refrigerator, and an iron/ironing board for your convenience.
While visiting The Roost, you are welcome to use the common spaces at any time, unless it is reserved for an Afternoon Tea. Common spaces include the front porch, living room and dining room areas. Games and books are available for use during your stay. The Outdoor Deck is also open to guests in the evening from check in until 11:00 p.m.
